Screen does have some shadows that can be seen on initial white startup screen. Once your playing a game any image with color looks great. Its just the back light films inside the lcd reflecting the light that causes the shadow but it's nothing bad that will cause issues during gameplay. The screen still lights up perfectly with the 2 brightness settings
Thing is these consoles are pretty old so expect the older tech feel lol

I replaced the battery so its lasting about 17 hours or so depending on the game
Motherboard has also been checked and fixed for any potential issues so no need to worry i take my time to check everything under the microscope and replace components that look bad.
Its very difficult to find good new batteries that actually last what theyre supposed to so i removed the battery terminal and installed a plug so its possible to plug in an aftermarket one used for drones and such that actually last as long as stated by its capacity. New batteries already come with the 2 pin plug so no need to solder a new one if at some point it ever needs one its just plug and play.
Please expect some imperfections like dust on lens as this is done by hand and not factory
Overall console looks pretty cool though
